Nurses working in Kawasaki City visit iCONM
The Kawasaki Nursing Association invited approximately 14,500 nurses working in Kawasaki City to participate in iCONM tour. This tour, held in two sessions on October 25 and November 15, aimed to share information about the "Project CHANGE”, a medical-engineering-nursing co-creation initiative led by iCONM as the core institution, and to facilitate the exchange of information between medical institutions. A total of 22 hospital nurses and home-visit nurses participated in the tour.
After getting an overview of iCONM and Project CHANGE, the participants took a facility tour. During the final open discussion, various opinions were shared, such as: "A system is needed that allows home care patients to access visiting nurses with the push of a button." , "Writing reports takes up a lot of time, making it difficult to focus on essential nursing duties.", "It was great that a third-party suggestion helped shorten the handover time," and "We want to collaborate in the future while continuing to respect each other.
