If research activities are conducted from the perspective of researchers only, even academic results obtained over a long period of time may have a large gap with social needs, making social implementation difficult. To avoid such a situation, we will establish “empathy and demonstration fields” as opportunities to present research results to society and listen to the voices of future consumers in accordance with the progress of the research. The Research Promotion Organization actively hires people with experience as senior directors of pharmaceutical companies to train young researchers and junior staff, and to improve the efficiency of social implementation, including the licensing of research results. In addition, a wide variety of institutions participate in this program, and there are also many overseas collaborations. We plan and implement an inner communication program to manage that diversity and create strategic chemical reactions.
