High school students who came up with the idea of “Care Saki” were interviewed by Nikkei

The "Kawasaki Care Design Consortium," which was established last November, has been searching for a more approachable name. Despite racking our brain for a good idea, We couldn't come up with anything, and even when we relied on generative AI, the results were lackluster. However, when we asked high school students who spoke at the CHANGE Symposium, they quickly suggested the name "Care-Saki." This morning, the two of them appeared in the Nikkei electronic edition, sharing the story behind the birth of "Care-Saki." As mentioned in the article, it reflects a forward-looking attitude towards challenges in areas that no one has tackled yet, a proactive compassion for patients, and the importance of creating an environment where people can live comfortably through mental care. It turns out it’s much more than just a play on the word "Kawasaki."

It is scheduled to be featured in tomorrow's (June 18) morning newspaper.
