The 4th General Meeting of Project CHANGE Held

On June 24, 2024, we held the 4th General Meeting of Project CHANGE at Shimadzu Tokyo Innovation Plaza in Kawasaki City.

 

This meeting was crucial as it brought together members from 36 organizations including a variety of universities, companies and others participating in CHANGE to discuss progress on various research and development projects and future plans. The meeting is held twice a year and serves as a valuable opportunity to address feedback from base meetings and to foster collaboration across themes and organizations in line with the mission of the 'Co-Creation Place'. This time, a total of 133 participants joined, both onsite and online.

 

The session began with an overview of the project's overall progress by Project Leader Takanori Ichiki. Following this, leaders and members from Research and Development Themes 1 to 5 presented reports and participated in a panel discussion. The meeting concluded with commentary from three advisors, providing insights for future endeavors.

During the poster session, there were 29 presentations. Among them, 14 young researchers were given the opportunity for short presentations. As a result of the evaluations, Yuki Ishibashi from the University of Tokyo and Yukihiro Kanda, a researcher at iCONM, won the Best Poster Award.
