Workshop at Kawasaki City High School for Science and Technology Held

On March 7, a workshop was conducted for 37 second-year students in the Science Department at Kawasaki City High School for Science and Technology. Prior to this, on November 29, a preparatory class was held where the project CHANGE was introduced. During that session, two letters were shared from individuals suffering from severe constipation and from those with dementia, who find daily living challenging. Based on these letters, the students were divided into six groups to discuss the issues faced by patients and caregivers and the current methods of addressing these challenges.

In this workshop, each group explored what specific problems they wanted to solve (their vision), what scientific technologies would be necessary to achieve that, and what kind of product development they envisioned. They engaged in discussions and presented their ideas to conclude this event.
