“Labor Environment Improvement Promotion Committee” of Kawasaki Nursing Association Visited iCONM
On September 27, members of the Labor Environment Improvement Promotion Committee of Kawasaki Nursing Association visited iCONM. This annual gathering serves as an opportunity for information exchange between the committee and Project CHANGE, which aims to improve the working environment for nurses.
The meeting began with opening remarks from Project Leader Takanori Ichiki followed by an introduction to the initiatives of iCONM/CHANGE by Project Sub-Leader Makoto Shimazaki. Kiyomi Arakawa, Center Director of the Solutions COE at Shimadzu Corporation, then presented the company’s initiatives related to the important topic of "nutrition" as a challenge in nursing care.
Additionally, Yoshihiro Kanda from iCONM reported on the follow-up to the "Nursing Wish List Survey" conducted by the Kawasaki Nursing Association. After the discussions, attendees had the opportunity to tour the world-leading nanomedicine research facility, albeit in a brief visit.
