Health Consultations and Walking Analysis Experience at the Asao Community Festival
On October 13, representatives from the University of Tokyo, the Kawasaki Nursing Association, NEC, SOERUTE, and Kawasaki City collaborated to participate in the Asao Community Festival, held at the Kawasaki City Asao Ward Office (hosted by the Asao Ward Office) as part of Project CHANGE. This initiative aims to raise awareness among Asao residents about activities in Kawasaki's coastal area and Project CHANGE.
For the walking analysis, we utilized an innovative insole sensor developed by NEC to measure various parameters, including walking speed, stride length, foot angles et al. Based on the results, we generated a scored walking report, and physical therapists provided on-the-spot walking advice to 207 participants.
In addition, nurses were available for health consultations, addressing a diverse range of inquiries from 63 individuals. This event served as a valuable opportunity for people of all ages to learn about Kawasaki City's coastal area and Project CHANGE.
