Approximately 70-80% of elderly individuals experiencing walking difficulties due to hip joint abnormalities suffer from acetabular dysplasia that went undetected during infant health checkups. Furthermore, incorrect childcare practices can trigger hip joint abnormalities. Based on these facts, an interview article featuring Dr. Yoshioka and colleagues from the University of Tokyo GNRC, a participating institution of CHANGE, was featured in the childcare magazine “Tamahiyo” for two consecutive days.
