6th CHANGE General Meeting Held

On May 29th, the 6th general meeting of Project CHANGE was held in the large conference room at Shimadzu Corporation's Tokyo Innovation Plaza. As the project has entered its third year, it is time to detach the first stage of the rocket and ignite the second stage. At the beginning, Project Leader Takanori Ichiki reflected on the activities so far, emphasizing the need to revisit our trajectory toward achieving our vision and to make necessary changes without fear. Following this, we conducted progress presentations from various teams, leading to the first pitch contest. This initiative aimed to deliver ideas to the field, providing an opportunity to learn about the key points for commercialization from experienced professionals. In the final panel discussion, reflections on Phase 1 were shared, along with insights and future challenges from various perspectives, resulting in an engaging discussion. In the summary provided by Advisor Takayoshi Mimura, he noted that it would have been better to recognize unexpected issues raised at the panel discussion earlier, and he offered valuable advice regarding key points for product and business development as we move into Phase 2.
