Nursing Care in a Super-Aging Society Changing with Med-Tech-Care Synergy (2) - Taking on the challenge with technology that transcends the boundaries between medicine, engineering, and nursing -
Focusing on the shortage of care workers due to the declining birthrate and aging population, the project "CHANGE" aims to create a society where treatment and nursing can be easily provided at home, even by non-medical professionals. Centered at the Nano Medical Innovation Center (iCONM) in Kawasaki City, this project approaches both technological development through co-creation among medicine, engineering, and nursing, and the construction of social infrastructure. It is committed to realizing a resilient health and longevity society utilizing cutting-edge technology. The key aspect of this technological development has begun to explore three research themes.
